An extraordinarily detailed look at the way software was distributed from publisher to wholesaler to retailer, by Sinclair User in February 1985. This article encapsulates the problems faced by Mastertronic in trying to ship low-margin products to suspicious buyers from the wholesalers and the big chains. These problems, which defeated many other publishers, were overcome by Mastertronic setting up its own distribution system until it was sufficiently established to be able to deal with the trade on equal terms.

This feature was continued with a further long article in the April 85 issue.
